Alterations and Cancellations by us: It is highly unlikely that the chosen property would not be available but this could happen if, for example, there was a serious technical problem, fire or some other unforeseen calamity. In such a case our liability is limited to the provision of another property of similar or higher category or if these are not available a full refund of the rental.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Refunds do not apply to circumstances beyond our control. We can cancel your holiday arrangement in the following circumstances: war, threat of war, riots, civil strikes or terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, airport closures, bad weather conditions and similar events beyond our control.
We strongly recommend you invest in holiday cancellation insurance to cover these events.
For your convenience we have a link to a reliable insurance establishment who can provide this cover - JL Morris. However you can obviously choose any appropriate insurance company.
Good Housekeeping Deposit
One or two lodges have not been left in a good condition by previous hirers. This unfortunately means we now reserve the right to levy an additional charge of up to £50 should your lodge be left in an untidy condition.
Clients are asked to leave their accommodation and its contents clean and tidy when vacating. Turn round times of the lodges are quite short on Saturdays and lodges left in poor condition make the task very much more difficult. Over and above dirt, other items such as fat left in pots and pans or unknown breakages are very time-consuming to fix. All damages or breakages of the fittings, utensils, crockery or cutlery should be reported to reception and will have to be charged for.
Each property is furnished and equipped to cater for the stated permitted occupancy and includes pots and pans, crockery, cutlery, iron and ironing board.
All properties are supplied with pillows, (two per person) duvets and bed linen. Towels are not included in the price, but may be hired from us at £5 per set.
Cots may be hired at £15 per week.
Dogs are by prior arrangement only, and must not be allowed on furniture or in bedrooms, must not be left unattended, and must be kept under strict control. Guests must clean up after their dogs (poop scoops are available at the recieption)
A charge of £20 per pet will be incurred.
Smoking is not allowed in any part of the lodges. We have provided safe sand receptacles outside for all our guests. Please do not leave cigarette butts lying on the ground beside the lodge, they look unsightly and we are concerned about the fire risk they present.
We have a laundry room on site for your convenience
We have one lodge modified for ambulant disabled. Please let us know well in advance if this is the lodge you would prefer.
