Craigs Lodges provide the perfect location for your self catering holiday in Scotland. The peaceful, scenic setting is complimented by providing incredibly quick access to Edinburgh (20 minutes by train), Glasgow and Stirling (both 30 minutes by train) yet Craigs Lodges is close to much of Scotland's finest scenery.
You can relax in the grounds and enjoy a multitude of sports nearby or experience the rich variety of cultural activities available in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Linlthgow Golf course and the Union Canal are both adjacent to the lodge park and mountain bikes are available to hire when pre booked. Without travelling anywhere you can vist the birth place of Mary, Queen of Scots and the magnificent home to all of the Stewart Kings; Linlithgow Palace in the centre of the town. Beecraigs Country Park at the edge of Linlithgow offers many wonderful walks and childrens' play areas whilst Bowden Springs, one of Scotlands most picturesque Trout fisheries is half a mile away.

The lodge park now has a newly surfaced all weather road allowing for easier access during the winter.

The lodges are situated in a conservation area on the outskirts of the historic town of Linlithgow, occupying 8.5 acres of wooded hillside. A small tree lined private road takes you from the A706, up over the Union Canal, to where the lodges take advantage of the sloping ground for views North over the Forth Valley or South to the surrounding hills. The lodges all have a 2/3 star grading from the Scottish Tourist Board indicating a "very good" standard of accommodation.

Linlithgow Train Station is 2.2 miles from Craigs Lodges and has regular trains running to Edinburgh and Glasgow normally every 15/30 mins.  For a full timetable please click here.

"Really enjoyed our stay.  Unusual building shaped like a piece of Toblorone.  Home from home.  I would definately recommend and I would love to return."

"This was a christmas present from our children.  I did think on the first day they could have sent us somewhere warmer, but we've had a great few days.  Today being the best, woke up to a bright sky and a woodpecker on the tree by the balcony!"
